A fast-growing Fintech company, Dollarsmart Global (DSGPay), is focused on disrupting and delivering innovative solutions to the Asian payment markets. DSGPay services a broad range of Asian, European, and USA business clients, allowing it to grow its business into Asia and Oceania. It has also been operating a successful cross-border retail payments platform since 2014. DSGPay has launched several new products recently, including a new mobile application and these now need to be brought to market. DSGPay will be focusing on strengthening these new products, while still supporting and developing its existing business to continue to meet the fast-changing global business needs.

The Head of IT will be responsible for overseeing DSGPay ‘s technology infrastructure, product development and project management. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and hands-on project management skills to ensure our products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. Oversee cyber security requirement implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage IT strategy and Team

  • Align IT strategy to business strategy.
  • Manage all facets of the IT system life cycle.
    • Ensure execution of IT strategy meets the business requirements and IT strategy meets the IT architecture requirements.
    • Ensure DSGPay has a well defined and executed high IT security standard and policy.
    • Ensure DSGPay has world class IT system administration processes and that we meet/exceed our customer and regulatory SLA requirements.
    • Ensure DSGPay IT development team productively develop new functions system , ect to meet business requirements.
  • Lead, manage and mentor IT team

Product Development:

  • Develop and articulate the product vision and strategy.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Define product goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success metrics.
  • Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, including requirement gathering, specification writing, and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with IT, Business Development, Operation and marketing teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve product features.
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature enhancements.

 

Project Management:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Direct and manage both DSGPay strategic and IT projects.
  • Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Skills:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure and software development. Strong experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity and emerging technologies
  • Leadership and management: Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse IT team. Strong decision-making and problem solving skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management, product management and/or project management.
  • Understanding of the payment and financial industry’s technology needs and regulatory environment.
  • Strong understanding of product development and project management methodologies.
  • Proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle and delivering successful projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Good Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g.scrum,) is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., monday.com, pipedrive, etc).
